Yellowstone National Park, established by Congress and signed into law by President Ulysses S. U.S. Grant dated March 1, 1872. Yellowstone National Park is a park located in the U.S. state of Wyoming. although this region extends into Montana and Idaho. Yellowstone is known as the world’s first national park, and is known to have wildlife. besides it has a variety of geothermal features, especially Old Faithful Geyser. Old Faithful Geyser is one of the most popular features in the park and have different types of ecosystems, but the dominant sub-alpine forest.The Park is one of the most visited in the United States, and for good reason: where else, after all, is it possible to experience, at such close quarters, phenomena manifesting the powerful forces at work in the earth's interior - geysers, thermal springs, fumaroles and mud volcanoes - while at the same time enjoying scenery of such grandeur and the equally fascinating wildlife.Native American population has occupied the Yellowstone area about 11,000 years ago. This area was impassable during the Lewis and Clark Expedition in the early 19th century. organized exploration did not begin until the late 1860s. U.S. Army assigned to oversee the park after Yellowstone National Park was established. and in year 1917, the administration of the park was transferred to the National Park Service, which has been created in the previous year. Hundreds more structures have been built and protected for their historical significance and architecture, researchers have examined more than 1,000 archaeological sites.

Yellowstone Caldera includes active volcanoes, and has erupted with tremendous force several times in two million years ago. Lava flows and rocks from volcanic eruptions over most of the Yellowstone area. while the Yellowstone National Park is the center of the Greater Yellowstone.various types of species of mammals, birds, fish and reptiles have become the documentation to know exactly how many types of species that exist in Yellowstone National Park, including some that will be threatened with extinction. forests and vast grasslands also include unique species of plants and therefore also incorporated into the documentation. Grizzly bears, wolves, and cattle from bison and elk live in Yellowstone National Park.The National Park has a varied range of flora, from desertic vegetation at the north entrance to sub-alpine meadows and forests.There are from time to time devastating forest fires in the National Park, most recently in the summer of 1988, when large areas of forest in the north-western part of the park were destroyed.
Fauna In this relatively intact natural region there is an abundance of wild life. In addition to bison, various species of deer (red deer, wapiti, mule deer), bighorn sheep, beavers and marmots, there are also elk, pronghorn antelopes, black bears, grizzlies and coyotes. In the air swoop ospreys and on water there are pelicans, various species of ducks and geese, and trumpeter swans. The reintroduction of wolves in recent years has had a mixed reception.The Forest fires occur in Yellowstone National Park every year, and once there is a large forest fire events in 1988, and nearly a third of the park burned. Yellowstone has many recreation areas, including hiking, camping, boats, fishing and tourism. Paved road access close to the major geothermal areas as well as several lakes and waterfalls. During winter, visitors often access the park using one or a snow coach tour by snowmobile.
